SH 4
SH 4 is a mixed ceramic grade that offers convincing characteristics especially in hard turning applications with its maximum edge strength and even greater hot hardness with excellent strength and wear resistance of the cutting material. This makes SH 4 an economical alternative to competing PcBN cutting materials in typical hard turning applications with smooth, continuous cuts. SH 4 is also suitable for conventional finishing and fine finish turning of cast iron materials.
