SH 4
SH 4 is a mixed ceramic grade that provides provides maximum edge strength and even greater hot hardness for hard turning applications, with excellent strength and wear resistance of the cutting material. This makes SH 4 an economical alternative to competing CBN cutting materials in typical hard turning applications with smooth, continuous cuts. SH 4 is also suitable for conventional finishing and fine finishing of CI materials.
