EMG Saltcores celebrates its 10th anniversary in India

Our team at the Patiala site in Punjab celebrated the 10th anniversary of EMG Saltcores by CeramTec in India with an impressive ceremony.

Following the transfer of a first automated sintered salt core line in January, a second line was transferred and installed last week to meet the growing demand for sintered salt cores by our customers. The plant in Patiala now produces a high six-figure number of sintered salt cores per month in addition to bonded salt cores for the Indian automotive piston market.

To celebrate this milestone, a celebratory evening was held for our employees with families and our customers to underscore the importance of our growth, strategic partnership and commitment to our production in India.

A Puja, a spiritual ceremony was performed to bless the employees and the newly installed production line. The ritual gave the technical transfer a special cultural significance and highlighted the close connection between modern technology and lived tradition. For the team from Germany, this was an immersive experience reflecting India's cultural diversity.
