CeramTec at ITMA Asia
After the postponement due to the pandemic, one of the most important textile technology trade fairs opened its doors from June 12 to 16, 2021.
The seventh ITMA ASIA + CITME took place in Shanghai and CeramTec also presented its ceramic solutions for textile production. Due to the difficult travel conditions, this time the trade fair took place with a strong Chinese focus: most of the exhibitors came from China itself. This was also the case for CeramTec: our booth in Hall 7 was mainly designed directly by our colleagues from Suzhou, and due to the and conditions they also provided the booth staff.
Nevertheless: Among the international exhibitors, Germany with 57 exhibitors and Italy with 63 companies represented one of the larger shares - a sign of the importance of this trade fair.
Alan Zhou, Sales Manager Textile at CeramTec Suzhou: "For us, this first post-pandemic textile technology fair was important to finally have personal contact with our customers again. I am happy that our booth was well visited and we could win some new prospective customers. Next time we will definitely be there again."
