CeramTec at the International Engineering Fair MSV in Brno

The autumn trade fair season is gathering pace: For our Factory Applications division, it was off to the MSV in Brno in the Czech Republic from 8 to 12 November. More than 35,000 visitors took the opportunity to discuss the status quo and future topics in metalworking with over 1,000 exhibitors.

At CeramTec, the new cutting materials met with the greatest interest: From the cutting material grade AKT 180, which specialises in turning centrifugal castings, to RST 330, which is used in the machining of heat-resistant superalloys - as required in the aerospace industry - to the LKM 880 for milling cast iron materials. In the field of tools, the new clamping system iCT, which offers more safety for high-performance turning, was convincing.
